DO NOT IGNORE THIS LETTER
I wrote to you concerning the above parking ticket No 3 on, 26 December 2006., with a copy to NCP who wrote the ticket on your behalf. Like Esther Rantzen, I have no confidence in your service, You seem to have a deliberate policy of not replying to all correspondence. I refer you to the last tickets I received, Parking Ticket Nos. 1 and 2, when you also failed to reply to correspondence.
However, I was impressed by your extraordinary public apology to Esther Rantzen broadcast on TV this week. I am very pleased that Esther was forgiven so publicly for not paying and displaying a parking ticket, (she did not have enough small change apparently), but were you not uncharacteristically forgiving. And so uncharacteristically prompt to dismiss the charge.
You will not avoid the common charge that Parking Control is corrupt in the City of Westminster, by showing favour to celebrities whilst dumping on the rest of us.
Although you have ignored my letter dated 2 January 2007, You should know that NCP who wrote parking ticket No 3 on your behalf, have written to me in response to that letter, confirming that I have registered a challenge of this ticket with you in writing, and also that you will “investigate” They also wrote apologising for their staff who “do not conform to the Highway Code” and also for the attendant, who was “rude and unhelpful”
They also wrote that you will “write to me directly”
That would be a first.
What, no public apology on TV?
